Beginner’s Series @ The Yoga Loft

Never practiced yoga before? Feeling unsatisfied with your regular workout routines? Need help to become grounded, centered and more focused?
This 4-week workshop series is designed specifically for the absolute beginner or anyone wanting a step-by-step review of the basics! In just 4 short weeks, you will walk away with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of yoga, breathing, relaxation and alignment in elemental versions of all poses. Upon completion you will have enough knowledge to be comfortable walking into drop-in basic or open level yoga classes.
OM MAMA- Post Natal Yoga for Emotional Health
at the Yoga Loft 4 Week Series Sept 18- Oct 16 7:15- 8:30pm
For moms of young children ages 0-5.
This series will focus on the emotional transition into Motherhood. Not every day is easy with young children – in fact, some days are downright difficult. Learn how to keep your Zen during the busy days of early childhood.
This program is designed for women experiencing anxiety, sadness, depression, grief, trauma from birth, and the loss of “Self” that many women experience during these first years of Motherhood.
In this series, you will learn: – how to ground and center yourself – what self-care really looks like – recognize rising emotions – find your balance in each day
Restorative Yoga – Monday Night Drop-In 7:00 – 8:15pm
Restorative Yoga is an excellent way to find peace and ease in the body. Poses are completely supported with props – In restorative yoga, we bring the floor up to meet your body so that you can completely relax and let go of the day …
In this class, you will occasionally experience hands on assists from me which deepens the experience and also helps the nervous system to create new pathways in the body. This yoga modality is extremely beneficial to anyone who has suffered any form of trauma to the body.
